I used a Kwik sew pattern from my first suit. I was just a basic tank one piece suit. For the top, I used a dress form to drape it in lining. Then when I got it to look how I wanted, I cut off the extra, took out the gathers, and used it to cut out in my green fabric. I am really happy how it turned out:)
Here are some better pictures of my first swim suit. On this pattern, I only changed the neckline, leg holes, and added the gathered detail.
